ROBIN’S REVIEWS is a literary review site created by journalist, writer and family historian Robin Vyrnwy-Pierce BA (Open).
He has worked as a reporter, sub-editor and editor for more than 45 years on newspapers and magazines in the UK, Australia and the Middle East.
He has also been a family historian since the 1970s first as an amateur, tracing various family lines back to the 1600s.
In the first decade of the 21st century he launched – as editor – a family history magazine, Norfolk Roots, and also became a professional family historian.
He also wrote for Ancestor magazine (which ceased publication in 2010) and Your Family Tree magazine. He has also
lectured at the Society of Genealogists on newspapers as a family history source.
Robin is an avid reader and a student of English literature (a subject he studied with the Open University along with art history, Shakespeare and the Reformation).
Reviews are by a panel of reviewers with knowledge of various aspects of life and literature. Reviewers are not identified allowing the reader to consider reviews without the influence of an expected bias.
The site itself is still undergoing reconstruction and archive areas and an authors section will be included soon.
